We have also built up a simple Home Automation demonstration based on our TPS2 and TPS2L. We have got some feedbacks from our visitors like “It’s the most flexible controller I’ve ever seen”, “I can make the most of the projects with it” and so on. Basically, as our slogan, people can take what they need and leave out what they don’t on our devices. The concept of our TPS is just like “LEGO”.

We placed some of our modules and TPS main board on the front desk to show that this is a solder free modular system. It was a fantastic Industrial Automation show at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall from August 31st to September 3rd.Īt this show, we were showcasing our Tibbo Project System (TPS) and wish it was as interesting for you as it was for us! :) Stay tuned as we continue to roll our new hardware and software. This is one of the fun parts of the CES – being surrounded by other fellow nerds, wandering around the booths full of cool tech, sharing ideas, and having a jolly good time. There were 3D printers, sensors, IoT solutions, robots of all kinds, wearable tech, and many many other cool things to see. The show floor of the Sands Expo was given almost entirely to geeks like us. On a personal level, the CES has been a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
In fact, the STEM acronym, which stands for “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics" was on the lips of a lot of our visitors!
We’ve had multiple representatives of the teaching profession visit our booth, and we gauged a high level of interest in using TPS and UniQB in teaching STEM curriculum. The main takeaway from the show was that Tibbo is a potential hit with educators. When combined with custom parts produced on a low-cost desktop 3D printer, the UniQb beams allow you to quickly build one-off robotic systems, machines, test rigs, production fixtures, and equipment for factory, educational, and laboratory applications. We’ve also showcased our UniQb 3D Construction Set. This year the CES was huge – to get an idea just how huge see the incredible numbers published by the CES organizers!Īt our booth, we have presented the Tibbo Project System (TPS) – a customizable control platform whose flexibility is based on Tibbits® – miniature electronic blocks implementing specific I/O functions.
1905 Fremont Street – When the San Pedro, Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad were created in 1905, the small settlement quickly became known as Sin City.On January 5-8, Tibbo has attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. So, now let’s take a look at how it all started, and follow the development of Las Vegas’ two biggest streets: the Stripe, and Fremont Street.ġ. After all it’s called Mojave desert for a reason, right? Just over a hundred years ago Las Vegas was nowhere to be seen, instead, there was sand, and sand, and more sand, and maybe some cacti. But it wasn’t always this neon oasis we know and love today. Now, I’ve never been to the desert metropolis, but I hear it’s a real paradise full of 24-7 gambling shacks, striptease, or should I say “showgirl” lounges, and, of course, casinos without clocks. I’m absolutely 120% sure all of you have seen at least some pics or videos of one of the greatest cities in America or even the world – Las Vegas, Nevada.
